Thanksgiving, Texas Camp 2024, was our final trip out there, sigh. We heard that this September's Texas Camp 2025 (yes, a new date from now on) was a big success. We missed being in our village with our dear friends; sharing good dancing, conversations, and food. However, Richie didn't miss driving for 3 days on the road each way. This old photo is from our Texas Camp 2019 pop-up shop -- we were so young!
EEFC Balkan Music & Dance Workshop 2025 went very well, now just a fond memory. We enjoyed the week of dancing & playing music with friends old and new, plus all the socializing & conversations.

Contact us if you don't see Balkan things you're looking for. Folk music CDs are popular as gifts, easy to wrap and mail . Most of our CDs are on final sale at the reduced price of $10. Too many titles to list them all. Ask us for your favorite Bulgarian CDs, or we can suggest some music. If you're near us in North Carolina, or driving through, call for a shopping appointment.
Where’s our shop? We're in the US, but don't have a brick and mortar "real" store. Before the pandemic we traveled to many folk dance camps and events, building our pop-up shop with both contemporary and vintage Balkan folk wares. After the pandemic break, many events never resumed so we're not traveling as much.
It's easier for us to set up a real shop than to manipulate this website, so you'll experience lots more Balkan Bazaar at an actual event. We offer you a treasure trove of folksy things - there's lots to look through, much more than the samples we have here on our website.
Many items are one of a kind, like a vintage Bulgarian hand-woven beaded belt or an out of print ethnic costume book. When that unique piece is gone, it's gone. Luckily, we're always collecting more. Some items are available in various styles and sizes, such as Bulgarian T-shirts, Bulgarian socks, table linens, and postcards.
